About Us: Bio for Justin Gifford Justin Gifford is a researcher/analyst for PolicyOne Research, Inc. Justin has experience in interviewing, surveying and focus groups as well as using technology as a means of gathering and disseminating data. Justin Gifford has earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminology from the University of Southern Maine and a Master of Arts in Public Policy and Management from the Edmund S. Muskie School of Public Service at the University of Southern Maine. Justin has also earned an Advanced Certificate of Graduate Study in Applied Research and Evaluation Methods.
Justin previously worked for the Registry of Probate for Cumberland County focusing on formal Estate matters. Justin also served as a system administrator for the office's case docketing software and was responsible for creating and maintaining electronic and interactive versions of Probate forms for dissemination to the public and local law firms as well as other County Probate Courts. While working for Cumberland County, Justin acted as secretary for a committee of County employees focused on the customer service needs of the employees and clients of the county as well as lead staff member on the Public Health and Human Services subcommittee for Cumberland County's Strategic Planning process.
Justin currently resides in Westbrook with his partner Jason, and their two cats, Selena and Snowy. Justin has previously volunteered with Southern Maine Pride and currently is a member of the Maine HIV Prevention Community Planning Group and is hoping to become more active in GLBT and HIV/AIDS issues in the future.
